Consultation
Before your Custom Facial at Helio Health & Wellness in Austin, you’ll meet with one of our providers for a consultation. During this time, we will discuss your skin concerns and what you want to achieve. Based on your consultation, we will determine the best treatment approach for your individual skin.

Treatment
Your provider will make sure you are comfortable in one of our treatment rooms. Next, they will clean the area for treatment, then apply the facial that suits your needs. Custom Facials take about an hour or less to perform.

Results
You will notice the results immediately after your treatment. Your face will look and feel healthy, moisturized, and there will be a visible glow to your skin!

Avoid direct sunlight and tanning beds for at least 5 days before the appointment.
Avoid Harsh Agents
Avoid exfoliating and harsh facial treatments for a week before your facial.
Inform Us
Let us know about any medications you take during your consultation and the names of skincare products you use.
Hydrate
Make sure your skin is hydrated. This will ensure you get the most out of each facial you receive. The easiest way to do this is by drinking plenty of water and using moisturizer morning and night.
No Shaving
Do not shave your face the day of your appointment.

As for deeper chemical peels, you may not need this level of facial for another few years. However, gentler maintenance facials can keep your positive results going.
- Is there a need for downtime?

There is no need for downtime. You can return to normal activities as soon as your appointment is complete.
Chemical peels don’t require downtime either; however, deep peels may require social downtime as your skin’s older, dull layers continue to peel, exposing fresh, glowing skin beneath.
