About Helio Health and Wellness in Austin

Sherry Neyman, MD, MS, FACOG brings 30 years of experience in women's health to Helio Health and Wellness. As a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist and Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, she built her career caring for women throughout Austin and Central Texas, developing a deep understanding of their changing needs from the reproductive years through menopause and beyond.

Her career has included hospital leadership, pioneering robotic surgery, and recognition as an Austin “Top Doc” and Texas “Super Doc.” Alongside her gynecologic and surgical practice, she developed particular expertise in menopausal medicine, sexual wellness, and hormone therapy, with more than 20 years dedicated to female hormone care. That experience shapes her approach: listen closely, understand the whole person, and create a treatment plan that reflects each woman's needs.

In November 2025, Sherry Neyman, MD, MS, FACOG retired from her longstanding gynecology practice to enjoy more of life and focus on Helio, her private practice, and the women she cares for here. Today, she leads an expert team with more than 100 years of combined experience caring for women at every stage of life, united by a shared purpose: helping women feel like themselves again.

Through hormonal shifts, changing bodies, and the demands of caring for everyone else, it can be easy for women to lose touch with their own well-being. At Helio, Sherry Neyman, MD, MS, FACOG and her team make space for women to feel heard, understood, and cared for. Together, they offer personalized hormone care, sexual health services, and wellness treatments to help women reconnect with their energy, confidence, and sense of self.

Outside Helio, Sherry Neyman, MD, MS, FACOG enjoys butterfly gardening, science fiction, traveling with her husband, Jim, and supporting rabbit rescue through the House Rabbit Resource Network.
