Brittany Key, PA-C
Brittany was born and raised in Round Rock. After completing her schooling, she returned to the Austin area and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Concordia University in 2004. In her last semester at Concordia, Brittany was accepted into the Physician Assistant Program at the University of Texas Pan American. From there, she relocated to Edinburg, Texas and remained there for two years until graduating with her Physician Assistant Degree in 2006. While at University of Pan American, she was the recipient of the 2006 JCAPAS Clinical Excellence Award.
As someone with a family history of breast and ovarian cancer, Brittany has a special love for women’s healthcare. After losing her Mom to ovarian cancer, Brittany became more determined to care for women’s needs and work in a practice where she could truly make a difference. Before joining our team here at Helio Health & Wellness, Brittany was a long-standing member of the Renaissance Women’s Group. Prior to that, she worked in a gynecology practice for six years. As a member of the Association of Physician Assistants in Obstetrics & Gynecology (APAOG) and the Central Texas PA Society, Brittany has contributed immensely to the wellbeing of thousands of women.
Brittany and her husband have two “furry” children. She spends a lot of her free time with her dogs, Max and Miller. Besides trips to the dog park, she enjoys her time off reading and taking trips to the lake.
Emily Cuyler, APRN, FNP-C
A native Texan, Emily graduated from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Abilene with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Prior to completion of her graduate school, Emily worked as a registered nurse in a county labor and delivery unit, a private gynecology clinic, and on a rural post-partum floor. She completed her Master’s degree with Family Nurse Practitioner certification from South University in 2017.
As an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, Emily began her career in Lubbock with a small functional medicine and hormone clinic. In 2018, she transitioned to a family practice and urgent care clinic in Austin. Emily was able to combine her prior experience with general wellness helping women achieve their health goals. She works extensively with peri and post menopausal women as well as with hormone management for menstrual irregularities for women with PCOS and endometriosis.
Emily enjoys spending time getting to know her patients, finding the root of the problem, and working as a collaborative team to optimize health. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their son.
Lauren Williams, APRN, FNP-C
Lauren has a strong passion for women’s health and is dedicated to empowering, improving and providing the highest quality of care to women at each and every stage of life.
Lauren was born and raised in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, she then moved to Lubbock, TX to become a Red Raider at Texas Tech University where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sport Sciences. In 2013, she went on to earn her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from UT Health Science Center at San Antonio. After graduating, she spent the next 8 years dedicating her nursing career to serving women by working in high-risk Labor and Delivery and Antepartum at Methodist Dallas Medical Center and St. David’s Women’s Center of Texas here in Austin, TX. While working, she completed her Master’s degree in Nursing with honors from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. She is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner and is elated to become a dynamic and energetic member of the Renaissance OBGYN team. She is a proud member of Texas Nurse Practitioners, American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Austin Area Nurse Practitioners and Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health.
Lauren is married to the love of her life and is a proud cat mom to two short haired tabbies, Dolce and Leo. In her free time, she enjoys practicing yoga, hiking, paddle boarding Lady Bird Lake and traveling.
